Our Story
At New England Shockwave, our goal is to develop athletes as players and as people. We know that the research shows that teens who participate in club and varsity sports perform better as students. The dedication and commitment to play club softball prepares our girls by supporting them to develop strong work habits, perseverance, self-regulation and the executive functioning skills that are critical to academic and social success. Shockwave girls understand the "We > Me" concept. By learning collaboration for the betterment of all, they are better prepared to become adults able to focus on the big picture. Whether it is college, the work-force, or simply family life, Shockwave training and participation prepares our athletes for success.
For Shockwave, its not about producing a million teams with varying levels of training and coaching to support one or two "elite teams", it is about the belief that any athlete who makes a Shockwave team deserves the same high level of training at any age level.
